Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need?
While how many total treatments you need is based on your concern, an average of 3 treatments is recommended. Your provider will discuss this with you further when you decide on your treatment plan and timeline, as tattoo removal may require more sessions than acne scars.
Is PicoSure safe to get in summer?
Yes! PicoSure is completely safe to schedule during the summer months. Unlike traditional laser treatments, PicoSure harnesses energy rather than heat, so your skin will not be any more prone or sensitive to the sun than usual.
Is PicoSure painful?
Although most patients report that the tolerable sensation is similar to that of a mild sunburn, our providers can also offer topical numbing agents as needed for your comfort.
